Rangers teams had a win and two losses in men's soccer action on Sunday.

Edged in extra time

Leigh Cameron (front) of the Guelph Rangers gets tripped during a South West Region Soccer League Cup game on Sunday against Listowel at the University of Guelph.

The teams battled to a 1-1 draw in regulation time before Listowel won 3-2 in extra time.  Adam Martin and Simon Alilovic scored for Guelph.

Later in the day, the Rangers Ontario Soccer League team beat Wisla United 4-1. Mike Bijman scored twice for the locals, while singles came from Jurgen Koehler and John Paul Hobbs.

In a third Rangers men’s game on Sunday, their Kitchener and District Soccer League team fell 1-0 against the Polish Eagles.
