Elite Lancers hit triple digits

The Windsor Lancers, the No. 1-ranked women’s hoops team in the nation, reached triple digits in scoring as they rolled over the Guelph Gryphons 102-48 Saturday.

Katherine MacTavish scored 16 points in the home loss, and had eight rebounds. The loss dropped Guelph to 6-12 while Windsor improved to 17-1. The Gryphons host Waterloo (2-16) on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The men’s Gryphons dropped a 76-62 contest to the No. 7-ranked Windsor Lancers Saturday at home on OUA men’s basketball play.

Adam Kemp led all Gryphon scorers with 14 points. Guelph fell to 5-13 with the loss and Windsor improved to 13-5.

The Gryphons host Waterloo (3-15) Wednesday at 8 p.m.
