The University of Guelph Gryphons football team beat Waterloo 41-19 on the road Saturday to improve their OUA record to 5-0.
Gryphons quarterback Jazz Lindsey was 21-for-37 passing, for 274 yards and four TDs. He also threw four interceptions.
Guelph led the game 35-6 at the halftime break.
On the ground, Johnny Augustine had 13 carries for 126 yards in the victory. In the air, Saxon Lindsey made nine catches for 98 yards
The win is Guelph’s 12th straight regular season victory, a team record.
The Gryphons and Western remain the only two undefeated teams in the OUA.
Western knocked off previously unbeaten Queen’s by a 50-31 score at home on the weekend.
Guelph and Western are not scheduled to play each other in the 2013 OUA regular season.
This Friday, the Gryphons play under the Alumni Stadium lights as they host York (2-3) at 7 p.m.
