A pair of Guelph Storm players were named to preliminary rosters this week for the World Junior Hockey Championship which starts later this month in Russia.

Storm goalie Garret Sparks was named to the United States preliminary team.

Forward Tanner Richard is on Switzerland’s preliminary roster.

The World Junior Hockey Championships run from Dec. 26, 2012, to Jan. 5, 2013.
