The University of Guelph Gryphons men’s and women’s basketball teams each earned lopsided wins at home Saturday against Waterloo.

The men’s team outscored Waterloo 26-8 in the fourth quarter on their way to an 82-63 win. Kareem Malcolm scored 24 for the Gryphons.

Guelph (7-5) hosts Wilfrid Laurier (10-2) on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

The women’s Gryphons got 15 points each from Kayla Goodhoofd and Samantha Russell in an 87-54 win over Waterloo Saturday.
