Two local basketball players have been named to the Ontario University Athletics East Division’s All- Rookie Team for their debut seasons in OUA women’s basketball.
Gemma Bullard, a John F. Ross grad, and Kim Cupid (Our Lady of Lourdes) were two of the five players named to the East’s All-Rookie Team.
Cupid was tied for second best points-per-game average at Ottawa this season. She averaged 7.4 points a game. Her 56 steals was tops on the team, and her 111 rebounds was second.
Bullard averaged 9.0 points for Queen’s, third best on the team.
Her 5.7 rebounds-per-game was second on the team.
