The Memorial Cup tournament starts Friday in London, Ont.

Kerb appeal

Kerby Rychel, the hero for the Guelph Storm in their OHL title-clinching victory last Friday night, has a huge laugh during an on-ice team photo shoot with Storm fans on Tuesday at the Sleeman Centre.

Rychel scored twice in the last five minutes of Friday’s game to lift the Storm to a 4-3 comeback win over the North Bay Battalion that gave Guelph the OHL title with a series win in five games.

The Storm opens its quest for the Memorial Cup on Saturday when they face Edmonton, the WHL champion, at 4 p.m. The Memorial Cup tournament runs from this Friday to Sunday, May 25 in London, Ont.
