Knights silence Storm again

The Guelph Storm lost 5-1 at home to London Friday night, their second loss to the Knights in as many days.

Brock McGinn scored the Storm’s lone goal, in the third period with the team down 5-0.

The loss was Guelph’s third straight. They’ve scored just three goals in those three games.

Garret Sparks got the start in net and allowed four goals on 10 shots. Brandon Foote took over, stopping 13 of 14 shots.

The Storm is in eighth in the Western Conference with 60 points from 64 games. Sault Ste. Marie also has 60 points from 64 games while seventh-place Windsor has 61 from 64.

The Storm visits last-place Erie on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
