The new track at the University of Guelph’s Alumni Stadium has been getting its lines painted this week.

The new eight-lane International Athletic Federation-certified track is part of the $4.8-million stadium project that has included a new video scoreboard and new artificial turf on the football field, home of the Guelph Gryphons.

The track is expected to be open for use starting Nov. 1.
