St. James skip Emily Walsh shouts orders during the team’s championship win on Tuesday.

Lions take title

The St. James Lions rink skipped by Emily Walsh took the District 10 girls curling title on Tuesday at the Guelph Curling Club.

The team, made up of Walsh, Lindsay Raftis, Sarah Ongorato and Dana Malleau, beat the Our Lady of Lourdes team skipped by Brianne DellaSavia 7-5 to win the title.

The District 10 championships continue today (Thursday) at the Guelph Curling Club.
