Guelph’s Sean Reilly has been named the Most Valuable Player for the 2013 Intercounty Baseball League season.
Reilly, a longtime Guelph Royals player who was dealt this season to the Toronto Maple Leafs, set single-season league records for most home runs and RBIs during the 2013 campaign.
It’s the second time in three seasons that Reilly has earned the MVP honour. He also won it in 2011. That season, he played for the Barrie Baycats as the Royals did not field a team.
Josh Garton of the Royals and Reilly were both named 2013 First-Team All-Stars.
