Marlins off to Ottawa for big Ontario event

The Guelph Marlins Aquatic Club has selected its 40 swimmers that will compete at this weekend’s Swim Ontario Division 1 Team Championships in Ottawa.

Among Marlins goals this weekend, says coach Kendra Burton, are: A top-four finish for the first time, winning three medley relays, and a national age group record by the 15-17 girls.

The event runs Friday to Sunday.

The Marlins roster for the event is: Emma Ball, William Barrett, Mike Bartle, Marcus Beckstead-Holman, William Beckstead-Holman, Katie Berwick, Haylie Burton, Russell Burton, Laura Bumbulis, Claire Campbell, Colin Campbell, Danielle D’Aoust, Victoria DiCaro, Cole Ellis-Hale, Julia Ellis-Hale, John Fauteux, Emma Fender, Amanda Hett, Tristan Jankovics, Alex Jensen, Riley Konrad, Jessie Lu, Victoria Maleolepszy, Abigail McDonald, Sasha Menegotto, Talija Menegotto, David Nowicki, Maddie Ongena, Dimitri Papadedes, Sophia Papadedes, Stephanie Papadedes, Rachel Plant, Kael Prickett, Willem Quosai, Genevieve Robertson, Katherine Stamp, James Steele, Samantha Stratford, Sara Tindale and David Webb.
