Imran Volney weaves his way through a series of cones during solo soccer training on Tuesday night at the University of Guelph’s Gryphon Soccer Complex.

Volney plays for the Guelph Oaks of the Kitchener and District Soccer League.

With four games left in the regular season, the Oaks are currently seventh in the 10-team KDSL and one point away from a playoff berth. The locals (6-8-0) host the Polish Eagles (6-6-2) on Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Gryphon Soccer Complex.
