Oaks reach playoffs
The Guelph Oaks are in the Kitchener and District Soccer League playoffs.
Guelph earned a 0-0 tie against Stratford City Saturday to grab the league’s sixth and final playoff spot.
The Oaks (8-8-2) take on the third-place Polish Eagles (8-7-3) Saturday at 7 p.m. at Woodside in Kitchener in quarterfinal play.
The Guelph Rangers, who are league champions, get a bye to the semifinals.
They closed out their season with a 1-0 weekend win over FEDS United.
