The Guelph Royals lost on Tuesday night for the ninth time in their last 10 games, as their record fall to the .500 mark.
The Royals fell 5-3 against the Toronto Maple Leafs at home in the Intercounty Baseball League game at Hastings Stadium.
Justin Interisano hit his ninth and 10th home runs of the season in the loss, both solo shots.
He had three hits in the defeat, scored twice and had two runs batted in to reach 29 RBIs on the season.
Toronto improved to 16-17 with the victory and Guelph’s record dropped to 16-16 with the loss.
The Royals host the Kitchener Panthers (17-16) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Hastings Stadium in Guelph.
