Registration is open for the third annual Bracelet of Hope Falling Leaves Run, which takes place Saturday Sept. 28 at the University of Guelph Arboretum.
The event is designed for all, and all proceeds will support Bracelet of Hope’s work to fight the AIDS pandemic in Lesotho, Africa, said a news release.
The trail half marathon gets the day under way at 8:30 a.m.
The 5km race starts at 9:15 a.m. and the 7.5km goes at 10 a.m.
At 11 a.m., a free kids 1km run takes place.
There are several races on the day as the Falling Leaves running events are followed by the New Balance Vic Matthews Open, which features both collegiate and high school races.
The women’s collegiate 6km race takes place at 11:30 a.m. while the men’s 10km is at 12:15 p.m.
At 1 p.m. the first of several scheduled high school races takes place.
