The Centennial Spartans won their 23rd straight District 10 team tennis championship on Friday.
The Spartans earned 51 points at the championship, played at the Royal City Tennis Club. John F. Ross was second with 40 points and Our Lady of Lourdes took third with 28.
Helen He of Centennial captured the girls singles title while John F. Ross’s Montana Crawford was second. In third was Lillian Gee of Bishop Macdonell high school.
Earning the boys singles championship was Zac Faveri of Ross. Lazar Vukoje of Centennial was second and Ravi Seth of Centre Wellington took third.
Top three finishers in girls doubles: Monica Trimble and Isabel Richardson (Lourdes), first; Brynn Jichici and Sarah Jichici (Centennial), second; Jane Nkutibo and Janet Nkutibo (Ross), third.
Boys doubles: Jackson Lay and Gareth White (Centennial), first; Darko Stanisic and Nick Kopyle (Ross), second; Ian Newman and James Scott (Centre Wellington), third.
Mixed doubles: Lane Furlong and Maja Brajkovich (St. James), first; Spencer Brown and Rosy Omino (Centennial), second; Nathan Scott and Annie Farquhar (Centre Wellington), third.
