Storm bounce back to take series lead

Twice they trailed, but in the end they prevailed.

The Guelph Storm doubled up the London Knights 4-2 on the road Tuesday night to take a 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven, second-round OHL playoff series.

The Storm trailed the game 1-0, and then 2-1, before prevailing. Robby Fabbri and Phil Baltisberger each scored twice for Guelph. Baltisberger’s second goal was an empty netter, in a game played in front of an announced crowd of 8,940 in London.

The win saw the Storm bounce back from a lopsided 7-2 home loss Sunday night in Game 2 of the series.

Game 4 takes place Thursday at 7 p.m. in London.
