Storm on a roll

The Guelph Storm had three wins in three games on the weekend and currently have an OHL-leading 19 points.

Guelph scored 21 goals in the three wins. They beat Sault Ste. Marie 7-1 on the road Sunday, Saginaw 8-5 on the road Saturday, and Sarnia 6-3 at home Friday.

Goals were scored by: Andrey Pedan, 2, Daniel Poliziani, Tyler Bertuzzi, Hunter Garlent, 3, Justin Auger, Brock McGinn, Scott Kosmachuk, 2, Matt Finn, 2, Jason Dickinson, 2, Cody McNaughton, Zack Mitchell,  Tanner Richard, Ryan Horvat, 2 and Brody Milne.

Guelph and Barrie are tied for tops in the OHL with 19 points each. Barrie has played one more game than the Storm.

Guelph has nine wins, two losses, zero overtime losses and one shootout loss.

The Storm hosts Windsor (6-4-0-3) Friday at 7:30 p.m.
