Storm player listed at No. 25

The Guelph Storm’s Robby Fabbri is ranked No. 25 among North American skaters in the Canadian Hockey League’s NHL Central Scouting midterm rankings for the 2014 NHL draft.

The domestic rankings list, released this week, also has the Storm’s Matthew Mancina ranked No. 18 among CHL North American goaltenders, and Storm teammate Phil Baltisberger listed at No. 205 among skaters.

The top-ranked skater is Samuel Bennett of the Kingston Frontenacs, who visit Guelph on Sunday for a 6:30 p.m. game at the Sleeman Centre.

Friday, the Storm visits Kitchener at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Guelph is at Erie for a 7 p.m. game that could be a battle for first place in the entire Ontario Hockey League.

As of Wednesday, Erie (34-72-2) was first with 70 points from 43 games.

Guelph (32-8-2) stood at second overall, with 67 points, also from 43 games.
