Storm storms back for emphatic win

The Guelph Storm scored six unanswered goals to pound the Plymouth Whalers 7-2 on Wednesday in OHL playoff play on the road.

Guelph now leads the best-of-seven, first-round series three games to one. Plymouth led the game 2-1 in the second period before Guelph scored six straight goals. Scoring for the Storm were Jason Dickinson, with 2, Nick Ebert, Tyler Bertuzzi, Justin Auger, Pius Suter and Zack Mitchell, who had three assists as well.

Earlier on Wednesday, it was announced that the Storm’s Brock McGinn was suspended for eight games for a check to the head that took place in  Game 3 on Tuesday night, a 2-1 Plymouth win.
Game 5 is Friday at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph at 7:30 p.m.
