Storm take control of series

The Guelph Storm beat the London Knights 6-3 on the road Thursday night to grab a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven,  second-round OHL playoff series.

Scott Kosmachuk and Zack Mitchell each scored twice for the Storm in the win. Ben Harpur and Robby Fabbri had singles, with Fabbri also having two assists.

Guelph was outshot 38-33 in the game. The Storm led it 6-1 before London scored two goals with less than 10 minutes to play in the third period of the game, played in front of an announced crowd of 8,961.

The Storm can wrap up the series tonight at home, when they host London at 7:30 p.m. for Game 5 at the Sleeman Centre.
