Swimmer strikes gold
Guelph Gryphons swimmers Alisha Harricharan and Evan Moerkerke each won two medals at the
CIS swimming championships in Calgary.
Harricharan won gold in the women’s 100m butterfly and bronze in the 50m butterfly. Moerkerke earned two men’s bronze medals, one in the 50m freestyle and another in the 100m freestyle.
Guelph native Erin Stamp, a rookie swimmer for the University of British Columbia, earned a silver
medal in the women’s 4 X 100m relay and UBC claimed the women’s overall title
