Volleyball squad splits pair on road
The University of Guelph Gryphons men’s volleyball team split a pair of road matches on the weekend.
In a 3-0 win over RMC, rookie Tim Warnholtz, a Guelph CVI grad, had a match-high 12.5 points. In a 3-0 loss against Queen’s, Winston Rosser recorded 11 points for the Gryphons and Warnholtz had eight.
Guelph (3-8) hosts York (5-6) Friday at 8 p.m.
The women’s volleyball Gryphons fell 3-1 against Lakehead on the road on the weekend. Julie Gordan had 15 points in the loss.
The Gryphons (3-9) host York (10-0) Friday at 6 p.m.
