Book hunt new library initiative

Books by local authors are scattered throughout the city just waiting to be found, read and shared as part of the Guelph Public Library’s “Guelph’s Book Find Project.”
The project sees books hidden in plain view in local coffee shops, shopping centres, at the market, community centres, churches, or even a park bench. People will know a book is part of the project by the sticker inside the front cover, a news release said.
To participate in the initiative, people need only find one of these books, read it, email the library at bookfind@library.guelph.on.ca to say where the book was found, and then leave the book somewhere public so it can be discovered by the next reader, said the library news release.
The library will be tracking all of the book find titles at http://bit.ly/TjC6jo.
People are encouraged to check the virtual map on a regular basis to see how far Guelph’s literary talents can be spread.
