AIDS Walk for Life on Sept. 16

The AIDS Walk for Life is coming back to Guelph for the first time in 15 years on Sept. 16. Registration for the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life will begin at 10 a.m., and the walk will start at 11 a.m. at the concert shell in Riverside Park.
The Masai Clinic in Guelph and its satellite clinic in Waterloo have 350 patients, said clinic coordinator Deanna Clatworthy in an email.
“There are many people who think that HIV/AIDS has been cured; sadly, it has not – in fact, the numbers of new infections are on the rise,” said Clatworthy.
For more information, contact Clatworthy at 519-780-5298.
