The Celtic Academy dance school is having a couple of open houses for people interested in learning or mastering Irish dance.
The first open house will take place at the Guelph Youth Music Centre on Aug. 25 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The second one, also at the Guelph Youth Music Centre, is on Aug. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be an introductory Irish dance lesson for children at the open house, and interested dancers can register for the upcoming season.
Mary Foley founded Celtic Academy in 1997 in Erin. Weeks later, a second location was opened here in Guelph. There is now also an academy in Orangeville as well. The Guelph Youth Music Centre is located on 75 Cardigan St.
