Concert at Riverside Park Sunday
The Guelph Symphony Orchestra kicks off summer this Sunday with its sixth annual Music In The Park concert.
The 3 p. m. June 28 event at the Riverside Park Bandshell, meant for the whole family, will feature popular selections by Bizet, Strauss and Sousa, and even a little James Bond music. As well, a jazz quartet will perform music by Claude Boling, and a piece by Guelph composer Bill Granger will be played by full orchestra.
Admission to the concert is by donation. The GSO is a semi-professional classical orchestra founded in 2001 by Simon Irving.
