Concert band show features local luminaries

The Guelph Concert Band will have the Royal City Ambassadors barbershop chorus as guests for a concert at the River Run Centre on Saturday.
As well, city councillor Cam Guthrie, Police Chief Bryan Larkin, radio personality Kevin Kelly and local realtor John Leacock will appear as special guests.
The 7 p.m. Feb. 22 show called Kaleidoscope will feature a wide variety of music by the band, led by its new conductor Chris Cigolea, a news release said.
“Highlights will range from Finlandia by Jean Sibelius to music from the Beatles; from the Gladiator theme Song by Hans Zimmer to Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland,” the release said.
Tickets are at the River Run box office.
