Guelph Arts Council offers two free workshops

The Guelph Arts Council is offering two upcoming workshops to help artists, craftspeople and arts organizations learn how to get financial support for their projects.
The first workshop, the Community and Multidisciplinary Arts Grant Workshop, will be held Feb. 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the main branch of Guelph Public Library. In it, Loree Lawrence, an officer with the Ontario Arts Council, will discuss grants for artists, collectives, organizations, festivals and community arts councils.
The second will be a Visual Arts and Crafts Grant Workshop, led by the OAC’s Lisa Wohrle. It will take place at the library on March 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will offer insight for visual artists and craftspeople looking to learn more about the granting process. Both workshops are free. People are asked to RSVP to the Guelph Arts Council at coordinator.gac@sentex.net or 519-836-3280.
