Guelph Community Singers is inviting everyone to meet its new director, Rachel Cleland, at an open house next Wednesday.
The 7:30-9 p.m. Sept. 12 event at First Baptist Church, 255 Woolwich St., will also be a chance to check out the group, a news release said.
“The mission of the Guelph Community Singers is to have fun, as well as to strengthen ourselves and our community by connecting through the joyful experience of making music in all its creative expressions,” the release said. “We are a non-auditioned, inclusive choir, open to adults who wish to experience the joy of singing regardless of ability.”
Anyone over 16 can join the group, which on Sept. 19 will start a new session at the church that goes to January. There is a fee.
