Beyond the music, community members can take part in free events all weekend long.
The lineup for this year’s Hillside Inside has been announced, with tickets set to go on sale on Saturday Dec. 1 at 11 a.m.
The smaller sister to Guelph’s popular summer music festival begins Feb. 1 with a show on the River Run Centre’s main stage featuring Great Lake Swimmers and Elliott Brood, along with a group of local performers. Members of Suzuki String School of Guelph will also be part of the 8 p.m. show.
The festival will continue throughout the weekend with two shows at St. George’s Anglican Church on Saturday. The afternoon show, in the sanctuary, will feature Hannah Georgas and Doug Paisley.
Then, starting at 9 p.m., Hollerado and Born Ruffians will play the church’s Mitchell Hall.
The festival will wrap up on Sunday Feb. 3 with another River Run main-stage show, featuring K’naan and Sarah Felker.
