Clare Sismondo almost seems to have an extra arm as she plays in synch with other violinists during the Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph’s junior strings event on Saturday. Clare was part of a group from Kingston that played along with the Heifetz Violin Ensemble of Guelph, bringing 25 violins to the stage at one time. “The more violins you add, the more you have to be careful of your pitch,” adjudicator Wendy Rogers remarked following the performance. “You sounded like one person all playing together,” she added. The music festival continues, with events until April 17 and on April 24 and 25. For the festival schedule, visit http://www.guelphkiwanismusicfestival.org.
