Reggae tribute on Saturday

Reggae music comes to a downtown venue this Saturday in a Toronto band’s tribute to the original Wailers band, celebrating the music of the late Bob Marley, the late Peter Tosh and Neville “Bunny Wailer” Livingston.
Entry is cheaper with a non-perishable food donation to the April 12 show at the Guelph Concert Theatre, 166 Wyndham St. N., a news release said.
Headlining the concert is the Toronto reggae band House of David Gang. Marley, Tosh and Livingston came together in 1963 as the three original members of the band that came to be known as The Wailers. They disbanded in 1974, and Marley went on to achieve international fame until he died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36, the release said.
