It has been 30 years since John F. Ross high school’s class of ’82 walked down the aisle of Ross Hall to receive their diplomas, and now those grads are being invited to celebrate the event again.
On Sept. 29 the Ross class of 1982, as well as their teachers and family members, will have a chance to reconnect at a reunion party at Guelph Place, 492 Michener Rd.
“Looking back, it’s clear we arrived at Ross in Grade 9 as children and we graduated, in Grade 13, as adults,” Ross alumnus David Akin said in a news release. “I can’t wait to catch up with friends who helped me with that transition to find out what they’ve been up to for the last 30 years.”
The reunion, which takes place from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., will include dinner and dancing with a live band playing music from the era as well as other favourites, the release said.
Alumni are invited to bring partners, siblings or other family members, it said.
