Climate change is on the agenda for the next monthly meeting of the Guelph Field Naturalists on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Arboretum Centre at the University of Guelph. The meeting will address the questions: “What’s up with the weather?”, “Is extreme weather the new norm?” and “Is the global climate going through unprecedented change?”
Environment Canada senior climatologist David Phillips will discuss the symptoms and impacts of a warming planet and what it means to the biodiversity and life-sustaining habitats of plants and animals in Ontario. The meeting is open to all. Admission is by donation.
